The Alp Trainer 2 is a low-cut alpine hiking and trekking shoe designed for comfort during long days in the mountains. Crafted with high-quality, thick suede leather, the upper ensures excellent comfort and protection, further reinforced with a full 360-degree rubber rand to withstand rock and scree. Engineered for enhanced performance and control across a wide range of mountain terrain, the exclusive Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole from SALEWA excels in both wet and muddy conditions, thanks to its dedicated climbing, traction, and braking zones, as well as an aggressive lug pattern.

Salewa's proprietary 3F System allows for a precise, supportive, and wrapping fit, with a steel cable ensuring firm ankle support and lateral stability. The Climbing Lacing system enables adjustment down to the toe for improved performance on rock. The EVA midsole provides superior cushioning and excellent comfort, making this a truly technical shoe designed to offer trail comfort right out of the box.

The upper features suede leather with a thickness of 1.4-1.6 mm, and is reinforced with a 360-degree full rubber rand. The outsole is the VIBRAM Alpine Hiking, while the midsole is made of EVA.
