Salewa Ultra Train 3 - Men's Hiking Shoe

The Ultra Train 3 is the 3rd generation of our successful Speed Hiking shoe, designed for use on paved trails as well as off-road touring. With a single shoe weight of 357 g (size 9 US), this footwear boasts several key features to enhance your outdoor experience.

The forefoot is wrapped in a breathable mesh upper, reinforced with a TPU coating in high-wear areas for added durability. The functional 3F system provides flexibility, a snug fit, and secure support, while the heel counter prevents heel slippage and increases the stability and protective function of the shoe.

Powering the sturdy construction is the MICHELIN Outdoor Compound X (OCX) outsole, which performs exceptionally well on wet and slippery surfaces. The Anti-Rock Heel Cup fixes the heel firmly in place, adding extra stability and protection. The Dual Density EVA midsole and Motion Guidance technology in the sole and midsole work together to promote natural movement and sure-footedness on any terrain.

For added comfort, the OrthoLite footbed provides additional cushioning, wicks away moisture, and keeps feet cool and dry. A stretch gaiter on the tongue prevents dirt or foreign objects from entering the shoe, ensuring a secure and clean fit.

In terms of care instructions, the Ultra Train 3 is machine washable, making it easy to maintain and keep your footwear fresh for your next outdoor adventure.
