The SALEWA Wildfire Edge GTX is a versatile technical shoe that can seamlessly transition from a hiking shoe to a climbing shoe, allowing your adventures to continue uninterrupted, even in wet conditions. Crafted with a 1.6mm suede leather and microfiber upper, the shoe features an Exa Shell over an injected 3D cage for excellent flexibility.

Incorporating the Salewa Switch system, the shoe allows you to tighten the laces at the rear eyelet and lace them up, pulling your foot forward into the toebox and compressing your toes, similar to a climbing shoe. Once your climbing is done, simply loosen the laces at the rear eyelet to create a roomier toebox and enjoy greater hiking comfort.

Keeping you dry and comfortable, the shoe is equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX lining that provides superior breathability and effectively blocks out wet elements. The 3F System ensures firm ankle and heel support, while the Climbing Lacing system and Salewa Switchfit system work in harmony to deliver a more precise fit and accurate lacing in the toe area, offering enhanced support and improved performance.

Breathable mesh lining and a customizable MFF+ footbed, the next generation of multifit footbed technology, allow for even greater adjustability, ensuring a perfect fit every time. An Edging Plate right under the toes provides additional, directional stiffness, while the anti-rock heel cup adds stability.
