The SALEWA® Wildfire Edge GTX® is a versatile technical shoe that can switch from a hiking shoe to a climbing shoe, so your adventure never has to slow down even in wet weather. This imported item features a 1.6mm suede leather and microfiber upper with an Exa Shell over an injected 3D cage, providing excellent flexibility.

Utilizing the Salewa Switch system, you can simply tighten the laces at the rear eyelet and then lace them up. This pulls your foot forward into the toebox, compressing your toes similar to a climbing shoe. Once you've finished climbing, you can loosen the laces at the rear eyelet for a roomier toebox and greater hiking comfort.

Equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX® lining, the shoe allows for better breathability while keeping out wet elements. The 3F System provides firm ankle and heel support, and the Climbing Lacing system combined with the Salewa Switchfit system work together to offer a more precise fit and accurate lacing in the toe area, giving more support and allowing for better performance.

The breathable mesh lining and customizable MFF+ footbed, the next generation of multifit footbed technology, ensure a perfect fit for the Wildfire footwear. An Edging Plate right under the toes provides additional, directional stiffness, while the anti-rock heel cup offers stability.

Featuring the POMOCA Speed MTN outsole with Butilic Compound, the shoe delivers reliable grip, traction, and sure-footed climbing precision on technical mountain approaches, scrambles, traverses, and climbs.
