Salewa Wildfire Edge GTX Men's Hiking Shoes

The SALEWA® Wildfire Edge GTX® is a versatile technical shoe that can switch from a hiking shoe to a climbing shoe, ensuring your adventure never slows down, even in wet weather. Featuring a 1.6mm suede leather and microfiber upper with Exa Shell over an injected 3D cage, this shoe offers excellent flexibility.

The Salewa Switch system allows you to tighten the laces at the rear eyelet and then lace them up, pulling your foot forward into the toebox and compressing your toes similar to a climbing shoe. Once climbing is done, you can loosen the laces at the rear eyelet for a roomier toebox and greater hiking comfort.

The waterproof GORE-TEX® lining provides better breathability and keeps out wet elements, while the 3F System offers firm ankle and heel support. The Climbing Lacing system and the Salewa Switchfit system work together to provide a more precise fit and accurate lacing in the toe area, giving more support and allowing for better performance.

The breathable mesh lining and the Customizable MFF+ footbed, the next generation of multifit footbed technology, allow for even adjustability for the Wildfire footwear, ensuring a perfect fit. The Edging Plate right under the toes provides additional, directional stiffness, and the Anti-rock heel cup adds stability.

The POMOCA Speed MTN outsole with Butilic Compound offers grip, traction, and sure-footed climbing precision on technical mountain approaches, scrambles, traverses, and climbs. Imported, the Wildfire Edge GTX® weighs approximately 14 oz per single item (not a pair), with measurements varying by size.
